well, nothing more... actually I've already done all available FC4 updates till now with the 2.6.10 kernel from FC3, when the new kernel become available I just made yum update and switched to the new kernel.

selinux will relable all the files because of the new selinux-policy but this is normal...

nothing more... nothing special...

The problem is that there is no BIOS option to disable USB on T20. But of course I tried kernel options to disable USB, ACPI, whatever... It didn't help...

Did you try to disable 'Legacy USB Support' in BIOS? There was a text file with list of such problems and their sollution, but I don't remember which Red Hat developer posted it on which Fedora Core mailing list...

Thanks for the post, Yovko! It seems Fedora 3 has the same problem with the network when the kernel is updated. That occured on 2 desktop PC's that I worked on. If you're interested, I can give you the configurations after I return to work (because that's where they are). Also, then I'll try 2.6.12 and see if it solves the problem.
